Safe and secure museum visit

We follow the Public Health Agency of Sweden’s Recommendations in connection with COVID-19. This means that we have adapted the museum and the offerings according to the prevailing circumstances. Skokloster Castle invests in even better guided tour offerings – both indoors and outdoors, when the usual programme activities have been cancelled.

Skoklosters Castles summer activities 2020

Opening Hours

The Castle and shop are open daily 15 June - 31 August, between the hours of 11-17.

Not too many people in the museum at the same time

We will limit the number of visitors to the Castle, so that we can all maintain a distance from each other. Entrance only via the Park Entrance.

Social distancing in the museum

There will be distance markings at various locations throughout the museum. Our guided tours in the museum will be adapted with smaller groups, so that distances can be maintained.

Increased frequency for cleaning

We will make extra efforts with cleaning on exposed surfaces, such as handles and railings. Hand sanitiser can be found in various locations in the museum. Of course, we make sure that you as a visitor always have access to soap and water in our WCs.

Only cashless payments accepted

We are no longer accepting cash payments at the museum.
