Open on weekends in May!

Come visit Skokloster Castle on weekends in May! We are staying open responsibly, and visitors can enjoy small group tours as well as our exhibitions, café and shop. You are welcome to picnic in the spacious castle park or take a walk in the beautiful surroundings.

Safe visits

We are following the recommendations and guidelines of the Swedish Government and expert authorities regarding COVID-19 infection control and have taken a number of measures to ensure the safety of our visitors, including:

• Maximum 40 visitors in the castle at the same time, to ensure that people keep a safe distance
• Maximum 5 visitors + guide on tours
• Signs and markings for a smooth flow of visitors and to prevent congestion from occurring
• Signs that show how many people can be in each room at the same time
• Soap and water in our toilets for good hand hygiene
• Hand sanitiser in the entrance, the shop and in the toilets 
• Expanded cleaning routines

Guided castle tours

Tours every half hour. The tours pass through the The State Apartments, the Unfinished Hall and the Armoury. No pre-booked viewings; first come, first served. Tickets are sold on site. Price: Adults SEK 120, free for children up to 18 years of age.

Museum shop, café and exhibition

Free entrance to the ground floor and the exhibition Dreams of Skokloster - Between the Battlefield and the Starry Sky. Limited number of visitors. Shop and café.

Castle park

Don’t forget to enjoy our outdoor areas during your visit.
