Spring has come to Skokloster and we are open every weekend in May. Take a guided tour in English, peruse the museum shop and enjoy Swedish fika or lunch in the Castle café. Visiting with children? Don't miss our beautiful Paradise playground.

The museum shop

The museum shop is stocked with beautiful items for the home, stylish decor pieces, and other products inspired by the castle's collections.

Paradise Playground - open every day!

Welcome to our playground - we call this green haven next to the castle the paradise, Paradiset. Explore nature, play in the gazebo, ride a wooden horse and cart, and balance on tools! The playground is free to visit.

Rent our spaces

Skokloster Castle is a museum with unique and historical collections, beautifully located on the shore of Lake Mälaren. When the castle is closed to visitors, it is possible to hire some of the rooms for photography and filming or for small events.

World famous Vertumnus
