During Easter, 7–10 April, we are open 11.00-16.00.
Please use the small entrance on the castle's south side.
Bouquets in the spirit of Vertumnus
Fantastic installations with inspiration from the baroque and the painting Vertumnus are on display in the state apartments. In collaboration with Interflora.

See world famous Vertumnus
On the ground floor of the castle is the exhibition Dreams of Skokloster – between battlefield and the starry sky, which is the castle’s permanent exhibition. The unique collection of splendid artefacts, including world famous paintings such as Giuseppe Arcimboldo’s painting Vertumnus, is on display here. There are also books, costumes and celestial globes to describe Skokloster Castle’s exciting history. You are welcome to visit the exhibition without a guide.

The entrance charge of SEK 120 includes your visit to the exhibition Dreams of Skokloster – between battlefield and the starry sky.

Easter eggs and castle safari
We look at Vertumnus, one of the world’s best known paintings. You can find roses, chilis, courgettes and much more! Then we make baroque style Easter eggs! We recommend the activities for children aged 6 and above.
Castle safari through the Wrangel Suite
Can you find all the animals in the pictures, tapestries or up on the ceiling? To on a castle safari costs SEK 45.
Audio guide for all the family
Price: SEK 20 for adults, children up to 19 free.
At Skokloster Castle, you can also take a guided tour on your own with our audio guide- It opens in your phone and takes you around the state apartments and the castle’s permanent exhibition on the ground floor. Scan the QR code, plug in the headphones and step into history.

Castle tours in English
We offer guided tours in English at 12.15 daily during the Easter Holiday. Tickets costs SEK 150 (includes admission). Buy tickets on site in the castle entrance.
