Its most sought-after possession is the painting Vertumnus by the 16th century Italian artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Skokloster Castle is open all year round to pre-booked tours, and our knowledgeable guides, fluent in several languages, will give you and your visitors an unforgettable experience as they travel together in time back to the 17th century.

Recommended visit duration
We recommend 1 to 1.5 hours for a visit the Skokloster Castles exhibitons.

Open year-round for guided tours by appointment
Our knowledgeable guides speak multiple languages and will provide you and your guests with an unforgettable experience as you journey back in time to the 17th century. The tour lasts about an hour.
Private Guided Tours
Prices daytime on weekdays
A pre-booked private tour of the castle costs 2 500 SEK for a group of up to 15 participants, with the option to add a maximum of 5 extras at 130 SEK each, making that a total of 20 at 3 150 SEK. These prices are applicable daytime on weekdays.
Prices weekends and evenings
On weekends, bank holidays, and evenings after 17:00 local time the fee will be 3 500 SEK, all extras the same as mentioned above. It is of course possible to have several guided tours at the same time if you have a large group of visitors. All the above prices include entrance fees.
